VILLAGERS in Barrow Gurney are being warned to be on their guard after a spate of burglaries in the area.
Over the past few days there have been two burglaries in Barrow Gurney and two in Blagdon. A dark blue saloon-style vehicle was seen in the vicinity shortly before one of the incidents.
Police are warning people to keep their homes secure, to mark any valuables with their postcode, take photos of them and to keep a list of serial numbers.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
