Cigarettes stolen in Clevedon store break-ins

A pair of convenience stores in Clevedon have been broken into overnight.

Avon and Somerset police were called at about 8.45pm last night (Wednesday) to reports of forced entry at the One Stop store in Bellevue Road.

It is believed cigarettes were stolen in the incident.

A similar break-in also took place at about 3.35am at The Co-operative Food branch in Old Street, where cigarettes are again thought to have been taken.

The Co-operative Food store has reopened, but One Stop is currently closed while police continue their investigations.
