Police investigate property blaze

POLICE are investigating a fire at a property in North Somerset.

Fire crews called police to a property fire in Fenswood Road, Long Ashton at around 9.20pm on Sunday.

The property was empty at the time and the fire was set near the front door.

A vehicle was seen near the property at the time of the incident, described by police as ‘acting suspiciously’.

Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen the vehicle to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
