A teenager has been treated for a ‘puncture wound’ following an altercation in Pill yesterday (Wednesday).

Two young boys were seen arguing in the village’s Precinct at 3.56pm when one was wounded.

A police spokesman said: “A 16-year-old boy sustained a minor puncture wound in the incident which did not require hospital treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

People took to the village’s Facebook group, The Daily Pill, to spread the word about the heavy police presence in the area after what witnesses described as a stabbing.
