Police are concerned for a woman’s welfare after she went missing on Wednesday.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary believe Uma Kulkarni may be in North Somerset and are urging the public to help with its appeal to find her.

Uma is a 42-year-old Asian woman, 5ft tall and of slim build.

She has black hair and normally wears a pair of earrings.

Her car, a bronze coloured Toyota Auris, was found near Aust Services near the Severn Bridge crossing.

She was reported missing on Wednesday from her home in Herefordshire and has links to Bristol.

The police would like Uma, or anyone who has seen her, to contact the force on 101 and to quote the reference number 5219072484.
