Poachers spotted in Clevedon

THE police helicopter was called to Clevedon last night (Fri) following reports of poachers spotted near the town.

Police received a call at just before midnight from someone who saw two men poaching in the Walton Bay area.

They drove away from the area in a Land Rover Discovery car, in the direction of Portishead.

The helicopter was called in to try to find the men but was not successful.
