North Somerset Play Forum put on their children’s summer Play Days event with the help of Clevedon Lion’s Dream Scheme.

Children were treated to music, Punch and Judy shows, a fancy dress story time and face-painting with Cuthbert The Clown.

The Lions’ mascot, Eric, took time out of his busy schedule to also pay the youngsters a visit.

The forum host the event each year to get children out over the summer and enjoying themselves.

The Lions’ Dream Scheme sees them donate hundreds of pounds to worthy causes in the area using funds raised throughout the year and on its Christmas Santa Float.

The next event will take place today (Wednesday) from noon to 3pm at the Salthouse Fields, in Salthouse Road.
