A BREATH of spring was brought to Clevedon thanks to the sunny weather and a successful flower show.
Clevedon Gardeners’ Club held its 54th Spring Flower Show at the community centre in Princes Road, with more than 300 people going along to look at the displays. With new classes for children and young adults as well as an array of horticultural, crafts, cookery and photography classes, the centre was filled with colourful exhibits throughout the day.
Club member Carol Raines said: “The display was like a breath of spring – all the more surprising after the sunny January which brought the garden on – then the cold and grey February – which held everything static.”
