FAMILIES enjoyed games and challenges during a host of school summer fairs.
In Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead and Pill on Saturday, primary schools put on their annual extravaganzas, with some following an Olympics theme and others organising traditional attractions and sideshows.
The grey weather was not enough to dampen the spirits of fair-goers, who made the events a success for their schools.
