COMMUNITY groups and residents gathered in Pill on Saturday evening to see the village Christmas lights turned on.
In Baltic Place, a fully festive event was put on with Pill Owls and Pill Community Choir performing carols for the crowds and a barbecue and mulled wine to enjoy.
Members of Crockerne Primary School choir also attended and stalls were set out in the shopping precinct selling many festive goods.
The village’s own troop of women Morris dancers also dressed up accordingly and the lights were turned on by Pill Rag King Ben Wilson and Queen Mother Tracey Cosway.
