FATHER Christmas paid a visit to Clevedon on Saturday to switch on the festive lights in the town centre.
At 5pm, Queens Square, Old Church Road and Station Road were lit up with colourful lamps and a Christmas fair was also put on for all to enjoy.
With stalls, sideshows, fairgrounds rides and festive foods on offer, the event proved popular with Clevedon residents both young and old.
Organised by community group, Clevedon Pride, the fair also saw many shops and coffee houses stay open into the evening, making the most of the festive trade.
