CHILDREN and adults across North Somerset put on an array of sponsored activities to raise money for Children in Need.

Pupils from Crockerne Primary School in Pill dressed in pyjamas and took their injured teddy bears to school to raise money for the BBC cause.

Pudseys joined children in lessons at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead as the whole school dressed up for the day.

A sea of spots was all that could be seen at West Leigh Infant School in Backwell and Golden Valley Primary School in Nailsea as youngsters wore their spotty clothes to class.

Staff at Greggs in Portishead put out collection tins for the appeal, while customers from Gilly’s Caf� in Nailsea were served by characters from the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Heritage Estate Agents in Portishead teamed up for sponsored basketball games in aid of the cause and members of Lynne Giles’ zumba class dressed as the cast of Fame to raise money for Children in Need.
