A group for people with disabilities which hopes to ‘share the joy of photography’ has been founded.

Photographers With Disabilities (PWD) has launched a club in Portishead, with hopes of supporting camera enthusiasts to nurture their passion.

The group is searching for members and volunteers to take part in its weekly sessions, which are held at Waverly Court, in Forth Avenue, on Thursdays from 1-4pm.

PWD hopes to expand, with plans for more sessions and Photoshop lessons.

Chairman Margaret Henson said: "We are a small charity helping bring the joy of photography to disabled members.

"You don't need to be
an expert. You only need the desire to share the joy of photography with others."
