Penny Brohn UK hosted its six-mile Stomp event which saw people don purple tops and raise money for the charity.

A total of 457 walkers went the distrance from Anchor Square, in Bristol, to the charity’s headquarters in Chapel Pill Road on Saturday and more than £34,500 has been raised so far.

A charity spokesman said: “We are blown away by all the support and are so proud of every walker and volunteer who got involved.

“Thank you all. The sun even made an appearance.”
