Families were able to have a go at air rifle shooting, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, archery, catapaults and bushcraft skills.

Taster days are held throughout the summer at Jacklands Fishing Lakes in Tickenham, to enable families to spend quality time together trying out rural activities.

Experts give up their time to help children learn more about country life and pick up some new skills.

Activities also include hedge laying and net making and there are also birds of prey to see, ferreting demonstrations and stick making.
