A youth charity has teamed up with a sports club to raise awareness of its work.

The Jack Hazeldine Foundation (JHF) and Clevedon Cricket Club have joined forces to raise awareness of the JHF's life-changing work and allow the sharing of facilities and best practice.

It will also use the power of sport to enhance young people's lives.

Cricket club chairman, Paul Jenkins, said he was 'delighted' to support the partnership.

He added: "We look forward to working closely with the charity to raise awareness of their fantastic work, and from a club perspective, we hope to use this as the first step in strengthening our position as a pillar of the Clevedon community going forward."

Ben Hazeldine, who founded the JHF in memory of his grandfather, is the club's president.

He received vital support from his grandfather before his death which prompted him to set up the foundation.

They will host a community sports day on June 23 to celebrate the new relationship.
