The hikers walked for three-and-a-half days to raise money to improve the school's library.

The challenge involved the team walking 25 miles per day, following the World Heritage Site.

Team leader Mark Karim said: "The team, made up of walkers of all abilities, made a fantastic effort and although it was tough going everyone enjoyed the challenge, the scenery and the camaraderie."

The money will be used to increase the school's library stock and update the digital library system.
