ARMED Forces Day and the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion were marked with a parade of standards through Clevedon on Sunday.
Organised by the town’s legion branch, the event also included a wreath-laying ceremony at the Peace Memorial in Elton Road before a drumhead service, conducted by Major William Slade of the Salvation Army, was held at the seafront bandstand.
Avon Glen Pipe Band, Portishead Town Band and cadets of the Clevedon Air Training Corps also took part in the parade and service.
