HUNDREDS of pounds were raised for a Portishead school during a shopping and pamper evening.
Held at St Joseph’s Primary School in Bristol Road on Thursday, the event was organised by the school’s parent, teacher and friends association (PTFA).
Visitors could browse stalls selling a wide variety of gift ideas and tasty treats as well as enjoying treatments including manicures and reflexology.
Despite the wind and rain putting some people off attending, an impressive 650 was still collected and will go back to the PTFA to help fund activities and resources at the school.
