HUNDREDS of pounds have been raised for charity thanks to the work of some pruned and pampered ladies.
SP Hair Company and Beauty Rooms in Nailsea’s High Street put on a special charity evening to collect cash for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The evening on January 25 proved a huge success with about 50 people going along to enjoy treatments, demonstrations and the complimentary champagne and canapes.
As a result, a total of 515 was raised for CHSW, which runs Charlton Farm in Wraxall and cares for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
