TWO people and two dogs were rescued from flood water yesterday (Wed) afternoon.

Shortly before 3pm fire crews were called to Chapel Hill in Backwell where a Volvo had become stuck under the railway bridge.

A middle-aged woman, a male teenager and two dogs were rescued by Avon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service using a raft.
