THOUSANDS-OF-POUNDS were raised by hardy fundraisers who slept out in the cold in Clevedon.
A charity sleep-out was held in Queens Square to collect cash for Crisis Centre Ministries in Bristol and Alabare Christian Care and Support.
With many churchgoers from the town taking part, the event saw 50 people sleeping rough for one night to raise awareness of the plight of homeless people.
As a result, 5,000 was collected for the two good causes.
