Remember to order repeat perscriptions before the Easter bank holiday

Doctors are urging people in North Somerset to check their medicine and order repeat prescriptions ahead of the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Many GP practices and pharmacies in the district will have limited opening hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday, making it more difficult for patients to access medicines at short notice.
Dr Shaba Nabi, clinical lead for prescribing at North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “By re-stocking medicine cabinets, knowing when your GP surgery is open and planning ahead for repeat prescriptions, people can ensure they make the most of the Easter break.
“Running out of daily medication can have serious consequences, especially for people who rely on them to control heart and breathing problems.
“Ordering medicines as soon as possible will make sure there is enough time for them to be processed and dispensed.
“If you do need medical help urgently during the bank holiday, you can contact 111 at any time for professional advice.”
