BUDDING actors can find out more about amateur dramatics in Portishead at a special open evening on Friday.
Portishead Players invite anyone interested in becoming involved, either on-stage or behind the scenes, to Somerset Hall, in the Precinct, at 8pm
Portishead Players celebrate their 90th anniversary this year and has a programme of four exciting and contrasting shows lined up for the coming season.
In October, they will present Hobson’s Choice by Harold Brighouse, followed in early December with the comedy Wife After Death by Eric Chappell. They will perform the pantomime Snow White, by Alexandra Slater, in February and the final show in April will be the murder mystery play Evermore Shall Be So by Norman Robbins.
