AN ENTERTAINING evening of music and comedy was held to mark the first anniversary of Portishead Jazz Club.
The Muskrats band and comedy guitarist and singer, Steve Bloggs, performed during the evening held at Clarence House in High Street.
Portishead Jazz Club was set up by Charles Baete and, The Muskrats, made up of local musicians, was named the resident band.
Over the past year, other bands have been invited to perform for the club and regular jam sessions have been held.
The club meets on the first Thursday of every month at 8.30pm at Clarence House.
