MORE than £100 has been raised for charity by croquet players.
Nailsea and District Croquet Club held a one-ball contest, when all players wore a blue item of clothing, and raised £120 for Prostate Cancer UK.
After seven rounds, Libby Howard-Blood emerged as the winner.
On April 20, the club in Kenford Park will hold an open day from 11am-5.30pm when visitors of all ages can try their hand at the sport.
