A CLEVEDON school has been rated as a good school with outstanding features following a recent Ofsted inspection.
The visit by inspectors to St Nicholas Chantry Primary School was held last month and a subsequent report has said the Highdale Avenue School provides pupils with a good education.
It also said by the time pupils leave in year six they are well-rounded young people and that parents and carers are delighted with the support provided for their children.
Improvements in maths and English were praised as were changes made to the curriculum to make it more creative.
To improve even more, the report has identified three areas for the school to work on: challenging pupils to reach the higher end of national tests upon leaving Year 6, ensuring pupils succeed in better levels of attendance and promoting community cohesion.
