Members of North Somerset Open Britain were out supporting the national People’s Vote campaign in Nailsea.

The campaign seeks a public vote on the final Brexit deal.

Campaigner Andrew Wright believes the electorate should go back to the polling stations.

He said: “I feel sure if people had the choice of waking up one morning and this Brexit shambles hadn’t actually happened many, whether Leavers or Remainers, would take that.

“However, it’s not where we are and somehow a conclusion regarding Britain’s future relationship with the EU has to be found.

“Parliament has stumbled from one crisis to another, so increasingly the only way out is seen to be a People’s Vote on the two Brexit deals on the table.”

“The one we have already got as a European Union member or Theresa May’s deal. People in Nailsea who took part in our ball in the box survey again came down heavily on the side of a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.”
