THE chance to learn about the history of North Somerset and take part in a guided walk is on offer next month.
A walk about Clevedon’s rich literature and mineral histories will start at Clevedon Promenade in Old Church Road on July 22.
There will be another walk on August 19 starting at Portishead’s Lake Grounds by the caf�.
It will be about the geology of its cliffs, its Iron Age hillfort and the ancient East Wood.
The walks, organised by North Somerset, will start at 2pm and cost �3 per person. No dogs will be allowed.
