A road closure due to take place between Clevedon and Portishead has been postponed.

The B3124 between Clevedon and Portishead was due to be closed for two nights today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) to allow for resurfacing work to take place.

However, forecasted bad weather means the work has been postponed.

It will instead take place on January 13-14.

The work will take place on B3124 Clevedon Road and Valley Road and the B3124 Walton Road and Holly Lane.

The total cost of the works is £45,000 and as well as resurfacing works, the road closure will be used to repair damaged signs, cleanse the drainage system and repair any damaged kerbs.
