A CLEVEDON nightspot will soon be attracting more live performers after its refurbishment.

A stage has been added to the bar area at Qdos at the Hand Arena so customers can watch live shows while they enjoy a drink at the venue. The bar has also been extended to accommodate more people.

Previous events have included an ice skating show with Dancing On Ice stars Kyran Bracken and Suzanne Shaw as well as performances by The Wurzels.

With its stylish new look, staff are hoping to attract even more performers and already have a number of events lined up.

Nick Davies, owner of The Hand Arena, said: “We’ve enjoyed some superb events in the past, but we’re always looking at ways to give our visitors an even better experience. Continuing to invest in improving our facilities will ensure that we’re seen as a must-visit venue.”

Qdos bar will be open for business again on Friday for a Halloween thriller party night and the MJ Experience - a talented Michael Jackson impersonator - will be the first to set the new stage alight.

Tickets are available from the Hand Arena box office on 01275 874856.
