The long-awaited opening of a major supermarket in Clevedon will take place next week, creating 30 new jobs.
Plans for the new Aldi store, located at Hither Green Industrial Estate, were first revealed two years ago and it will open at 8am on July 2, when Clevedon Town Council chairman Graham Watkins will cut the ribbon.
The site has 95 parking spaces for customers.
Nick Douglas, store manager, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers to our new store in Clevedon and would like to thank them for their patience throughout the development.
“We are still recruiting people who have a passion for retail and a drive to succeed to join our team.”
