A NEW rotary club has been set up in Portishead to cater for a rising trend of busier members.

Members noticed some of the newer recruits had less time to spend attending meetings.

As a result, the new Gordano Breakfast Rotary Club has been formed which meets fortnightly for a breakfast meeting on Thursdays at Gordano Gate.

In between meetings, members keep in touch via email, to enable them to meet less frequently.

There are currently 20 members of the new club from a variety of different businesses and professional backgrounds.

Rotarians have been supporting the town for 35 years through fundraising and community groups.
