Lion Glynn Hill will take over from Sue Miller as the president of Clevedon Lions.

Glynn, along with his wife Sandy, has been a member of the club for four years and has taken an active role in all events and fundraising activities.

Outgoing president Sue Miller has been in charge of the club as it donated more than £18,000 to different charities and organisations including the Clevedon Community Centre, the cricket club, Curzon cinema and Children's Hospice South West.

She has also overseen the maintenance of the defibrillators which have been purchased and installed by the Lions.

A club spokesman said: "Without the hard work and dedication of Lion Sue Miller and the members of Clevedon Lions, together with the generosity of residents, none of this would have been possible."
