DISUSED phone boxes could be bought by a parish council to benefit the community.
Wrington Parish Council has produced a list of aims for the 2015-16 financial year, including a scheme to breathe new life into the traditional British red telephone box.
It has yet to reveal what it will do with the phone booths, but one in Yatton was turned into a popular second-hand book community drop-off point two years ago and the parish council may consider doing something similar.
Other priorities set out by the parish council at its annual meeting included continuing to work on a neighbourhood plan for Wrington. It also wants to improve drainage at the Recreation Ground in Silver Street and to review speed limits and weight restrictions in and around the village.
