Representative from Clevedon Garages, which also owns Gordano Ford in Portishead, handed out brand new all weather training jackets to the girls who train at High Down Junior School.
The under 10’s squad developed after the football enthusiasts said they enjoyed the girls’ matches played at school and wanted to take their interest in the game further.
The team, which meets every Thursday evening, entered their first ever tournament against Bristol league teams at the beginning of July and came home with the runners up trophy.
