Five-year-old Guinness has been treated to a new enclosure, built especially for him.

His house has been made using reclaimed materials – a practice which is often used at the zoo farm and has helped it to win gold in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

Guinness now has a warm wooden house insulated with sheep’s wool as well as a dry yard and spacious grass area.

The development was made from metalwork leftover from the bear habitat and wooden pannelling from previous projects.
