MEMBERS of the Nailsea Miners have been inducted into the Rotary movement.

Nailsea and Backwell Rotary Club president Roy Ackrill welcomed the club, which appeals to younger working men and women.

Nailsea Miners has its own programme of events and community service and will be working its way to becoming an independent chartered rotary club.

Rotarians also welcomed district governor David Houghton to the club as he spoke about Rotary’s work all over the world.
