A RISING star from Nailsea has released her first single on iTunes and is appealing for the people of North Somerset to request her tune on local radio stations.
Charlotte Fortune, aged 26, has released a cover of Neil Young’s Only Love Can Break Your Heart in time for Valentine’s Day and the song will be released on iTunes tomorrow (Thurs).
Charlotte grew up in Nailsea and attended Backwell School before studying at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
The talented performer can sing, dance and act, and since graduating she has toured the UK with pantomimes and musical theatre and has now released her first single.
She said: “It’s really hard to concentrate on one thing because I enjoy doing them all.
“I’m really nervous now because my video is on YouTube. I’m hoping my family and friends will request it on their local radio stations.”
