People got into the festive spirit to raise thousands of pounds for Nailsea youngsters.
St Francis School, in Station Road, hosted its Christmas fair and raised more than £2,000 which will go towards providing children with iPads, which will be used as educational tools in lessons.
Mulled wine, cakes, hot dogs and more were served up and 10 stalls sold treats and gifts.
Festive entertainment was provided by the Scotch Horn youth band who recreated Christmas classics.
Acting headteacher Catherine Hunt said: “The children visited Santa Claus in his grotto and they all came out with lovely smiling faces.
“We also had sperate rooms which children could go in to wrap up presents for their parents in secret.
“The atmosphere throughout the day was wonderful and I must thank every stall-holder, cake-seller and volunteer who made the event possible.”
