The Pass It On Young Sports Rifle Range takes place at the Ring O' Bells pub every other week under the tutelage of Rob Collins.

He said: "The range is going from strength to strength. We get a lot of children with special needs.

"I teach them to shoot from a calm place, using a meditation technique.

"So many children are now doing well at school and turning their lives around - and that's down to the shooting.

"It's going better than I ever dreamed of."

Around 20 to 50 people attend the sessions which run from 6-10pm every other Tuesday.

Rob also organises the Pass It On Young Sports taster days at Jacklands Fishing Lakes in Tickenham which enable families to have a go at rural activities.
