A further 13 people, including a man from Nailsea, have been charged with supplying Class A drugs following the police’s dawn raids across North Somerset on Tuesday.

Alan Turner, aged 38, of North Street will appeart at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday) along with seven other men and four woman, charged with a total of 29 counts of supplying Class A drugs.

A 15-year-old boy has also been charged with one count of supplying drugs and has been bailed to appear at North Somerset Youth Court.

More than 30 people were arrested when police raided properties in Nailsea, Yatton, Weston, Bristol and Cheddar following a nine-month long investigation into the supply of drugs in Somerset.

Eighteen people have already been charged and appeared in court.
