Nailsea Carnival and Fair, which is organised by the Friends of First Nailsea Scout Group (FOFN), is one of the most popular events on the town's calendar.

A number of entries have already confirmed for the carnival procession which sets off from Clevedon Road car park at 1pm.

Enthusiasts can cheer the procession on as it snakes its way through the town, before finishing at Millennium Park, in Brockway, for the afternoon's festivities.

The fair will run from 1-5pm featuring music and dance, children's slides, stalls and a car boot sale.

A number of local businesses have supported the fair, with prizes including days out, which will be up for grabs on the day.

Anyone interested in entering the procession can get in touch through the group's Facebook page or at www.1stnailseascoutgroup.co.uk
