Impressive layouts on display at model railway exhibition

Scores of model railway fans spent the day indulging in their passion at an open day in Clevedon.

Nailsea and District Model Railway Club put on an exhibition at The Barn.

Club members showcased their impressive layouts and displays to enable visitors to find out more about the hobby.

Some of the layouts on show included Stanley Yard, Wheal Nook, New Mexico Railroad Museum and Cedar Gap.

Families popped in to chat to club members and watch the model trains in action.

Enthusiasts were able to buy models and parts from traders on the day and David Burnett also put on a modelling demonstration during the event.

The club’s annual exibition will take place at Nailsea School, in Mizzymead Road, from April 6-7, 2019.

The event will feature a range of model railway layouts covering many different scales, regions and eras.
