Scouts are preparing to deliver post across Nailsea and Backwell to raise money for charity.

Nailsea and Backwell Scouts Christmas Post will run from Saturday until December 15.

The postal service, which is sponsored by Pring & Co, has been running for 20 years and last year members collected 4,984 cards.

The Scouts Christmas Post raises money for activities and equipment for the group and members also donate a significant amount to charity.

Nailsea and Backwell Scouts would like to thank everyone who has supported the service by buying stamps and they are appealing for people to use the service again this year.

Stamps are available from Budgens Garage, School Togs, Hunter Leahy, Cohens Chemist in Somerset Square, MayNews, the Co-op Hannah More Road and Grove News in Nailsea, as well as Backwell Motors, Backwell Vets and Parkers Estate Agents in Backwell.
