Mum will run in memory of son

A CLEVEDON mum will take part in the Bristol Half Marathon in memory of her young son, Kane.
Jenny Mitchell will be fundraising for Leukaemia Research, a cause close to her heart.
Kane was just 18 months old when he died from acute myeloid leukaemia 10 years ago.
Jenny, aged 32, said: “I really hope they can find a cure for leukaemia so nobody else has to go through what I have.
“It is the most common cancer in children.”
Jenny, who lives in Hillview Avenue with her three other children and her husband Wayne, has been a keen runner for the past few years but this is the first half marathon she has taken part in. For the past six months she has stepped-up her training in the hope of being well-prepared for the event on September 30.
