A business aimed at helping young children get active and stay healthy is now running new classes in Clevedon.

Fit4Tots, which launched in Long Ashton last year, teaches children aged from two to seven years old skills in balance, co-ordination and agility and is now running weekly classes from 10-10.45am on Mondays during term-time at St Andrew’s Church Hall in Old Church Road.

Lesley Waldron, director of Fit4Tots, said: “We are really hoping to do some classes in local nurseries and
preschools too.

“The classes we run in preschools and after school in Long Ashton are really popular and I hear lots of reports of parents being given fitness instruction by their kids after our classes, which I think is just brilliant.

“We’re getting them into the fitness habit young and getting the whole family involved.”

Peppa Pig also made a guest appearance at the first Clevedon class on Monday, helping the children get warmed up at the start of the class and cooled down at the end to prevent them from injury.
