More refugee families could be given places to live in North Somerset.

North Somerset Council has already found a home for one Syrian family, but is hoping to rehouse two more.

But since it made its decision, the Government has extended its refugee policies, and is planning to resettle more children from war-torn countries in the UK.

The council will consider extending the scope of its own refugee scheme next month.
