More Posset Pieces

THE latest book on Portishead, published by the Gordano Society, is now on sale.

Posset Pieces No. 8 is available at Summit Outdoor Leisure in Wyndham Way car park, opposite Co-op, or by telephoning 01275 843566.

The 36-page book entitled Posset People includes stories about Portishead centenarians Mary Ann Tripp, Elizabeth Bolton and Frances Rogers. There are also recollections from residents during early 1900s through to 1950s.

Posset Pieces is published twice a year and costs �5.50 to members of the public or �4.50 to members of the Gordano Society.
