SPORTING activities, crafts and games are enjoyed at a Clevedon youth club which is encouraging more girls to go along to its sessions.
Every Tuesday evening at the YMCA in Marson Road The Hive is open to children in school years seven and eight for them drop in and meet their friends in a safe environment.
There is plenty for the youngsters to do including basketball, table tennis, craft, cooking and even the chance to play on computer games.
Currently, there are a lot more boys going to the session, which runs from 7.30-9pm, and youth workers are keen to get more girls involved.
They are also looking for more volunteers to help run the session as the number of teenagers attending increases. Anyone who can help can call the YMCA on 01275 878405.
